Maxis today officially expanded its fibre network infrastructure to Penang, making it easier for Penang users to enjoy Maxis Home Fibre services. Maxis aims to connect over 100,000 homes in Penang by 2027 through their infrastructure and offerings.
Maxis will focus specifically on urban and high-demand areas, including Jelutong, Georgetown, Batu Maung, Bayan Lepas, Bayan Bary, as well as prime locations in Seberang Perai.
This development by Maxis is also seen as in line with the Penang2030 vision which aims to make Penang a smart, green and inclusive state.
Maxis Home Fibre is offered in several different plans, starting at 100Mbps at RM89 per month, up to 2Gbps at RM319 per month.
