Wikipedia Will Not Replace Human Writers with AI

In the writing industry, more and more people are losing their jobs due to being replaced by artificial intelligence (AI). A leading publication that became a hot topic two weeks ago, for example, replaced more than 40% of its writers with AI to reduce costs. Wikipedia, as a leading online encyclopedia, announced that they will also use AI but not to replace human writers.

Instead, AI will be used to simplify technical tasks so that human writers can focus on producing content. AI will also simplify the process of searching for information on Wikipedia, allowing humans to discuss topics and make decisions such as agreeing to edit published articles.

The language translation and topic adaptation process will also be powered by AI. Finally, Wikipedia volunteers will also receive training assisted by AI systems.
