Anthony Loke: KLIA Aerotrain Service to Resume Operations Soon

Aerotrain will resume operations soon. That was the latest announcement made by Transport Minister Anthony Loke, who said that the Aerotrain service, which carries flight passengers from the main terminal to the international terminal, will resume operations soon.

He said that in about a week or two, the media will be invited to board the Aerotrain before it resumes operations. The service seems to have already begun its testing phase, where I personally saw the train start operating without passengers a few weeks ago.

The Aerotrain service was stopped at the end of February 2023 due to a fairly critical technical problem, and until now, a shuttle bus service has been used to transport passengers from the main terminal to the international terminal.

Anthony Loke did not give a final word on when the service will resume operations, but we expect it to be announced during the media event soon.
