Qualcomm recently announced that they have fixed three zero-day vulnerabilities, which are previously unknown vulnerabilities in components and software.
These vulnerabilities were discovered by Google, specifically through their Threats Assessment Group (TAG), which has been reporting these vulnerabilities to Qualcomm since February of this year. These vulnerabilities, if discovered by hackers, could cause serious issues for users where their data could be stolen, and worse, devices could be taken over without the user's knowledge.
Through a statement issued by Qualcomm, these three vulnerabilities are present in the graphics chip, including CVE-2025-21479, CVE-2025-21480 and CVE-2025-27038. Qualcomm confirmed that they have just completed the patching of these vulnerabilities, which are seen to be present through the Adreno graphics chip built into all current Qualcomm processors.
According to them, device manufacturers already have access to these latest security updates, and it is up to them to ensure that all their devices receive these software updates.
