Prasarana has now come up with a new app called Rapid On-Demand. Using it, users can book van-style transport to the nearest public transport station. With this step, it allows users to enjoy low booking rates, while at the same time encouraging the use of public transport.
For the introductory phase, Rapid On-Demand bookings are offered at a price of RM1 per trip, and operate between 6am and 11.30pm daily.
Currently, Rapid On-Demand covers areas around 11 zones, including MRT Semantan-KTM Segambut, MRT Bukit Dukung-Sungai Sekamat, MRT Sungai Buloh-Bandar Rahman Putra, MRT Serdang Raya Selatan-Taman Bukit Serdang, MRT Metro Prima-Taman Botani Kepong (FRIM), MRT Kentonmen-MITEC, MRT Sungai Jernih-Taman Puncak Saujana, MRT Serdang Raya Utara-Pavilion Bukit Jalil, MRT Taman Equine-Lestari Perdana, MRT Metro Prima-Taman Bukit Maluri and MRT Sri Delima-Sri Segambut.
