Rize was previously one of the applications that focused on digital banking, offered by Al Rajhi. However, now it is going through a rebranding, where the Rize application is changed to the Al Rajhi banking application.
All Rize users in Malaysia have started receiving an application update starting today that rebrands the application to Al Rajhi.
Along with this update, several changes were also introduced. This includes a change to the account number for money transfers. In addition, if you only have a Rize debit card, then you can continue to use it. However, if you have both a Rize and an AlRajhi debit card, then your Rize debit card will be automatically terminated, and you can use the AlRajhi debit card for various transactions.
It is not stated why the Rize brand is being terminated. It is likely to facilitate user management, in addition to offering updates to users. For those of you who are already using Rize, you can check your application update to see the transition to AlRajhi.
