WhatsApp Status is a private space for some users for updates that are specific to close contacts only. Now, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that allows users to customize Status in a more interesting and creative way.
They can arrange up to six photos in a collage using a special editing tool (Layout), and add songs (More with Music) or music stickers to reflect the desired mood. In addition, they can also convert photos to stickers (Photo Stickers), and adjust their size and position in Status to make it more suitable and interesting.
The Add Yours feature also allows users to share photos with the ‘Add Yours’ sticker to invite contacts to participate in the conversation and share their replies as their own Status. This feature will be rolled out in stages and is expected to be available to all users in the near future.
