Adidas Climacool Laced 2.0 – 3D Printed Shoes with Adjustable Straps

Adidas introduces the Climacool Laced 2.0 as the latest addition to their shoe line. The shoe is designed entirely using 3D printing technology and has an open upper that can follow the natural shape of the foot. The design allows for thorough ventilation to ensure that the foot is comfortable all day long.

The Climacool Laced 2.0 also comes with adjustable straps that allow for a more flexible fit according to various foot shapes including width types. This design makes it suitable for all genders, whether male or female. The heel is also supported by a built-in arch to provide additional stability while walking or playing sports.

The Climacool Laced 2.0 uses a polymer material that goes through a 24-hour heating and compression process. The result is a printed structure that is lightweight, durable and allows for airflow for all-day comfort. The tongue and laces are made of regular textile material that is manually assembled after the printing process. This approach is to provide a balance between technological elements and user-friendly design and comfort.

Adidas also improved the design by using printed eyelets and contrasting laces. The off-white base color is maintained as a minimalist background color while the addition of contrasting colors gives the shoe a more versatile character. The Climacool Laced 2.0 is offered at a price of around $160 (~RM680) per pair.
