Elon Musk's aerospace company, SpaceX, is now reported to have committed to investing around $2 billion in the artificial intelligence company also owned by Elon Musk, xAI. It is said that SpaceX will invest and join several investors in the injection of new investment funds into xAI.
Previously, Elon Musk himself has structured for xAI to acquire and merge with the social media company X, and form a company. Not only that, Elon Musk has also started looking at integrating Grok, a chatbot developed by xAI into Tesla, and is said to power Tesla's future robots.
With this move, Elon Musk is seen integrating the companies with each other. Grok is said to now power SpaceX's Starlink customer service support.
For now, both SpaceX and xAI have not issued any official comments regarding this.
