Tecno is now expanding its line of devices under the Pova 7 series with the launch of two new models, namely Tecno Pova 7 and Tecno Pova 7 Pro in the Indian market. Both devices are designed with interesting features, especially through the use of the Delta Light Interface system.
This feature is in the form of a triangular LED strip that surrounds the camera module and supports up to 104 different types of LED lighting. This system can also be used to display notifications for features such as incoming calls, music players, device charging and more.
Both devices are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip, along with memory options of up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro use HiOS 15 which is based on the Android 15 operating system. This software also supports the DeepSeek function and comes with a virtual assistant known as Ella that can help users with daily tasks.
The device is also powered by a large 6000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Interestingly, for the Pova 7 Pro model, there is also support for 30W wireless charging, which is an advantage that distinguishes this model from the regular version.
Although both models look similar externally, there are some significant differences in terms of display and camera. Tecno Pova 7 comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen supporting FHD + resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness offered is up to 900 nits. For photography, it is equipped with a 50MP main camera.
On the other hand, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro offers a better experience with the use of a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution. This display also supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness that reaches up to 4,500 nits. For the camera, this model is equipped with a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
