WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow channel admins to ask open-ended questions to their followers. This feature is still in development and is expected to be launched in an upcoming update.
Its main function allows admins to write and share open-ended questions in channels. Followers can then provide answers directly but only visible to admins. Questions can also be accessed through conversation attachments, similar to the poll feature. If a question is deleted, all related answers will also be deleted directly.
This feature is designed with a focus on privacy where other followers cannot see other people's answers, thus avoiding arguments and maintaining a safe interaction space. It is also expected to provide added value to brands and organizations that want to get in-depth feedback from their communities.
