Apple Reportedly to Launch Robots by 2027

Apple Vision Pro is a new category product launched by Apple for a long time. Initially it was well received but the market demand for mixed reality (MR) headsets was relatively low. In a recent report by Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, he said that Apple is now ready to launch a robot placed on a table.

This robot is a project that was originally reported as a HomePod with a screen. It has now evolved into a tabletop robot with an arm that can move freely up to 6″. The screen at the end of this arm is the size of an iPad with a robot face based on the Finder icon. It is powered by Siri with artificial intelligence to allow it to chat and interact with users.

This robot project is in the process of producing the first prototype with the final design only known after Siri with Apple Intelligence is launched next year. This enhanced Siri has been delayed by a year from the original date because it did not achieve what was promised at WWDC last year.

Apple's late foray into the artificial intelligence (AI) development arena has led to Apple Intelligence's capabilities behind ChatGPT and Gemini. Because of this issue, Tim Cook did not rule out buying existing AI companies to immediately increase Apple's intelligence capabilities, just like they bought SRI International to own Siri.
