Following on from acquiring a 10% stake in Intel, US President Donald Trump has now said he wants to invest more in American companies.
This move is seen to cover various sectors and not just the technology market. Regardless, this is said to be worrying the entrepreneurial and business community in the country.
Intel itself has stated that their business is at risk from demands by foreign governments, given the involvement of the US government in the company. This move is also said to make it more difficult to receive grants.
With this new development, could we see more companies giving their equity to the US government?
