The Edits app offers three new functions through a new update. These improvements are intended to simplify the video production process and improve the quality and appeal of user-generated content.
The first feature introduced is the Stickies on Teleprompter function, which allows users to automatically convert short notes into teleprompter scripts through a menu option. Scripts written in the form of notes can be displayed directly on the recording screen through the application’s built-in Teleprompter function.
In addition, Edits now allows users to share unpublished video drafts directly from the application’s editor area. Through this feature, users can send a preview of their project along with a message via Direct Message (DM) on Instagram to get early feedback from friends or followers.
The third feature announced is the ability to increase audio volume by up to 150%. While this increase may raise concerns about sound quality, Instagram explained that it was one of the highest requests from users. All of these features are available in the latest version of the application.
