Along with the update to the smartphone series, Google also updated the rest of the Pixel family, including smartwatches with the introduction of the Pixel Watch 4. This smartwatch is the first watch to include standalone satellite communication support (for the cellular version), in addition to including Gemini on it.
The Pixel Watch 4 comes with a round watch face, includes a 3000-nit brightness rate to offer comfort in sunlight, and offers a usage time of up to 30 hours for the 41mm version, and up to 40 hours for the 45mm version.
Google includes a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip on this smartwatch. Completing this smartwatch are health features such as sleep pattern monitoring, skin temperature scanner, dual-frequency GPS for more accurate distance monitoring when running, as well as several new training and sports options. The Google Pixel Watch 4 also adds support for pixel ball. Other features are also retained, such as stress management, other health metrics, and even a morning summary of information.
In Malaysia, this smartwatch is offered starting at RM1749 for the 41mm version, and starting at RM1999 for the 45mm version. Both are expected to be offered around November for the Malaysian market.
