Along with the announcement regarding ILMUchat, YTL has also updated the one-stop page for ILMU, showing that it is now opening access to the ILMU public language model by anyone who wants to integrate it into their respective applications and offerings.
ILMU or abbreviation for “Intelek Luhur Malaysia Untukmu”, is said to be developed entirely in Malaysia, and optimized for local language, culture and daily reality. It is also adapted for all ages and job levels. The ILMU language model also comes in multi-model form, allowing it to interact in the form of text, voice and also visual.
According to the comparison shown, ILMU is seen to lead the market compared to others, especially in the Malaysian language.
ILMU will be offered to the public via ILMUchat. Meanwhile, for businesses, several methods of use are shown, including for banking (by Ryt Bank), integration with vehicle infotainment systems, and also the ability to make translations and subtitles.
According to the ILMU website, text input is charged at $1.20 per million tokens, while output is charged at $7 per million tokens.
In parallel with this announcement, ILMU is also coming up with an accelerator program targeting companies that want to integrate it, which will receive a grant worth $1 million in ILMU tokens to use over the next 12 months. Applications for it can be done today via the official ILMU website.
