YTL today shared that it will officially introduce ILMUchat on September 16, 2025, thus providing an alternative to local users of services like ChatGPT, but developed entirely in Malaysia.
ILMUchat will be offered via the web and mobile applications, allowing users to ask various questions and get answers directly through it - more or less like ChatGPT. Not only on mobile devices, YTL also shared that ILMUchat will also be integrated through Proton's inforia system, starting with the new Proton X50.
With the integration, users can ask various questions while driving or in a vehicle. For now, the introduction date has not been announced. Through the demo shown today, YTL also demonstrated the ability to interact with voice through ILMUchat, in addition to the ability to provide information based on the current location context.
ILMUchat is expected to be offered through an update to the existing inforia system. Let's all look forward to further developments regarding its offerings.
