Insta360 is expected to introduce a new action camera following the previous 360° model. Likely to be called Insta360 Go Ultra, several leaked images and specifications have revealed key information about this device.
This camera comes with a compact design, but is slightly larger than the Insta360 GO 3S model. It remains lightweight and comes with a flatter shape to provide better comfort and ease of use. Insta360 Go Ultra is also expected to be offered in two color options, black and white.
The Go Ultra is expected to use a new 1/1.28-inch sensor that is capable of recording video up to 4K resolution. However, the most significant improvement lies in the frame rate now reaching 60FPS. This sensor is also able to capture more light, thus promising better image quality in various lighting conditions.
In addition, this camera is also equipped with an ambient light sensor, FlowState stabilization, and a wide-angle sensor with a field of view of up to 156 degrees. It is also expected to be compatible with various additional accessories to enhance its functionality, including a viewfinder that can be attached and removed magnetically. The official launch date has not yet been announced, but is expected to be announced soon.
