The Intel Core Ultra 200V processor series, also known as Intel Lunar Lake, is a series of processor chips for thin and light laptops, but with processing capabilities that are not only powerful, but also long-lasting.
For the Malaysian market, laptops with Lunar Lake processors will typically use the Intel Core Ultra 258V processor chip, which is an eight-core processor chip loaded with 32GB of built-in LPDDR5X memory and also the Intel Arc 140V graphics processor chip.
Recently, a new Lunar Lake processor chip model has been leaked, namely the Intel Core Ultra 7 254V which has been shown on several benchmarking websites such as PassMark, Furmark and Vulkan. In terms of specifications, it is seen that this processor chip comes with eight physical cores consisting of four Performance cores and four Efficiency cores. similar to what is shown on the Intel Core Ultra 258V processor chip.
Based on the PassMark screenshots shown, the benchmark scores for the single-core test appear to be similar to the Core Ultra 7 258V processor, but when it comes to the multi-core scores, the number of points seen is much lower than the previous model, 17327 compared to 19158.
This is likely because the base and Turbo Clock speeds of this processor are not as high as the previous chip, even though it appears to come with the same number of cores. Meanwhile, it is also not yet known what memory offerings will be shown on this CPU.
It is expected that the Intel Core Ultra 7 254V will be introduced for more affordable laptops, but still want good processing power.
