At the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 three months ago, the latest SUV Zeekr 7X was already shown but it is still a question mark whether the model from the Chinese market will enter the Malaysian market with the same specifications. Today, the Zeekr 7X has been officially launched for the Malaysian market with a price tag starting at RM179,800.
In terms of appearance, the Zeekr 7X can make your eyes look at its stylish design such as the Zeekr Stargate Integrated Smart Light Curtain headlights but it also has several strengths of its own compared to other electric cars on the market today. As shown at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, the Zeekr 7X will have three different variants according to user needs, namely RWD Standard, RWD Long Range and AWD Performance.
For the RWD Standard variant, it uses a motor that produces 310kW of power and up to 440Nm of torque. The battery installed is 75kWh LFP which provides a travel range of 480km WLTP. Meanwhile, for the RWD Long Range and AWD Performance variants, the battery specifications are almost the same, namely a 100kWh NCM battery with a travel range of 615km WLTP for the RWD Long Range and 543km WLTP for the AWD Performance. The power produced by the RWD Long Range variant is the same as the RWD Standard variant. The AWD Performance variant which uses two motors at the front and rear produces a power of 475kW and 710Nm for torque. This impressive power and performance is due to the use of an 800V high voltage system.
In terms of charging, all three variants for the Zeekr 7X use a DC 800V charging platform which can provide impressive charging power. For RWD Standard, it can charge from 10% to 80% in 10.5 minutes using DC charging with a power of 450kW while AC charging with a power of 22.5kW can charge from 10% to 100% in 4.5 hours For the RWD Long Range and AWD Performance variants it has the same charging power. With DC charging of 420kW, it only takes 16 minutes from 10% to 80%. For AC charging it takes up to 5.5 hours to charge from 10% to 100% with a power of 22.5kW.
The interior of the Zeekr 7X can also be said to be quite luxurious and attractive. All three variants have a 13.02″ HD driver cluster and a 16″ mini-LED center screen with a resolution of 3.5K. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available for all these variants. All systems in the interior of this car are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. In terms of sound system, the Long Range and Performance variants have 21 Zeekr Sound pro speakers with a 7.1.4 audio system. RWD Standard is equipped with 10 Zeekr Sound speakers.
Zeekr 7X is sold at a price tag of RM179,000 for the RWD Standard variant, RM190,000 for the RWD Long Range variant and AWD Performance at a price tag of RM226,800. Zeekr also provides a vehicle warranty for 5 years or after 150,000km, a battery warranty for 8 years or after 160,000km. For this launch promotion, Zeekr will provide a wall charger with a speed of 22kW and solar film for the mirrors for free.
