As previously rumored, OpenAI has now officially introduced their latest plan, ChatGPT Go. However, the introduction of this plan is only limited to the Indian market for now. ChatGPT Go offers access to 10 times the message limit compared to the free plan, 10 times more message generation, and 2 times the memory compared to the free plan.
In India, this plan is offered at a price of Rs 399, which is around RM19.33. This offer is seen as more friendly for the developing market, compared to the ChatGPT Plus plan which costs $20 (~RM85).
Through the OpenAI support page, it is stated that ChatGPT Go is only offered in India for now, but may be expanded to other regions or countries in the future. In addition to OpenAI, Perplexity has also previously collaborated with companies in India in offering free access to users in that country. With various artificial intelligence offerings, many are now competing for high user numbers, and of course India, with over 1 billion people, is a target for various companies in obtaining high user numbers.
