Last week, Tecno sold their latest affordable smartphone, the Tecno Pova 7 4G at a price of RM599. Today, Tecno has launched two more new smartphones for the local market, namely the Tecno Pova 7 5G and Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G.
Starting with the Tecno Pova 7 5G, this device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip with 8GB of built-in memory and up to 256GB of storage. The device's memory can be extended by another 8GB through the extended memory function by another 8GB. If more storage is needed, this device also has an additional microSDXC storage slot.
It is also equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen display with a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Meanwhile, this device runs the Android 15 operating system with the HiOS 15 interface.
In terms of camera offerings, the Tecno Pova 7 5G is equipped with a 50MP main camera and dual flash and can record videos at Full HD resolution. The selfie camera is equipped with a 13MP wide sensor.
It is also equipped with a giant 6000mAH battery with support for 45W Flash Charge fast charging and 30W fast wireless charging. This device will be offered in Geek Black, Magic Silver and Oasis Green color options.
Moving on to the Tecno Pova Ultra 5G, this device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processing chip with up to 12GB of built-in memory, which can be extended by another 8GB using the extended memory feature and 256GB built-in storage.
This device also comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz and a brightness value of 4500 nits, suitable for various types of use, whether you are watching videos or playing your favorite games.
Like the Pova 7 5G, this device also runs the Android 15 operating system with the HiOS 15 interface.
In terms of cameras, the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is equipped with a 108MP and 8MP dual camera system on the rear, while the selfie camera uses a 13MP sensor just like the Tecno Pova 7 5G.
In terms of battery, the Techno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is equipped with a large 6000mAH battery and is combined with Ultra Charge 70W fast charging technology and 30W fast wireless charging.
As an interesting gimmick, both the Tecno Pova 7 5G and Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G devices come with a Status Light lighting system, which is an LED light that illuminates around the camera module of these devices, indicating that you have received new messages, incoming calls and when you are in a gaming session.
These devices will be offered in Geek White and Geek Black color options.

In the meantime, the purchase of the Tecno Pova 7 5G and Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G devices will also come with a power bank with magnetic charging function in the box. This power bank comes with a capacity of 6000mAH, the same as the battery of both devices and a 10W wireless charging function.
