Acer Swift 16 AI Is the First Laptop Powered by Intel’s Panther Lake Processor

In the middle of this year, Acer showed off a laptop loaded with Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake processor, and showed the laptop in a glass case to prevent anyone from touching it.

During the next@Acer event in Berlin, Acer and Intel made a few announcements about the laptop, and Jason Chen, Acer’s chairman and CEO, introduced the Acer Swift 16 AI, which is now confirmed to be the first laptop to be powered by the processor.

As we know so far, Intel’s Panther Lake processor is developed and manufactured using Intel’s 18A process along with their RibbonFET technology to feature new cores, more powerful graphics support, and also promises long battery life.

This laptop is seen as suitable for a variety of uses, especially by those working to develop AI technologies or using them extensively. The Panther Lake processor chip is expected to come with not only greater AI processing capabilities, but also more efficient power consumption for various types of tasks.

Jason Chen said that more details about this laptop will be revealed soon, but what has been said so far is that this laptop will come with a very large touchpad, a 16-inch OLED screen display and a frame made of magnesium alloy and has an overall weight of the device lighter than 1kg.
