This year, Apple ended the iPhone Plus family, and now in its place, Apple has come up with a new series called iPhone Air. As its name suggests, it is carried over from the MacBook Air family, the iPhone Air also focuses on its thin and light design.
Apple says that the iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone model ever produced. It comes with a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR screen with ProMotion support up to 120Hz, powered by the Apple A19 Pro chip, as well as the N1 wireless network chip for WiFi 7 support, and Bluetooth.
The Apple iPhone Air is said to offer all-day battery life. Completing this thin and light smartphone is a 48-megapixel main rear camera, and an 18-megapixel selfie camera.
In terms of thickness, the iPhone Air is 5.6mm thick, and is said to use a titanium-based frame for a strong and durable build. The iPhone Air also includes an Action Button and Camera Control on the side – like other iPhone series.
In addition, the iPhone Air comes with an eSIM-only design, and does not include a space for a physical SIM.
In Malaysia, pre-orders for the iPhone Air start on September 12, and sales start on September 19 with it being offered in sky blue, light gold, cloud white and space black. The sales prices are as follows.
Apple iPhone Air (256GB) – RM 4999
