Firefox to End 32-bit Linux Support in 2026

Mozilla has announced that it will end support for 32-bit Firefox for Linux users, effective around September 2026. As of today, various software vendors have ended support for 32-bit Linux versions, and Firefox is among those that still support their users.

Mozilla is targeting Firefox version 144 to be the final version to come with 32-bit Linux support, and starting with Firefox 145, support will no longer be included.

Today, many have switched to 64-bit-based computer systems, and this move is also seen in line with the transition and adoption in the market. Mozilla also emphasized that Firefox ESR 140 will continue to be supported until September 2026.
