Huawei officially launched its second-generation triple-folding screen phone Huawei Mate XTs. It still retains the identity of the previous generation but comes with more up-to-date internal hardware upgrades.
Huawei Mate XTs uses three LTPO OLED screen panels that support a resolution of up to 3K and a color display of up to 1.07 billion colors with the P3 color gamut. The screen size can reach 10.2-inches when fully opened, 7.9-inches when folded in half and 6.4-inches in single-screen mode.
Huawei Mate XTs are powered by the Kirin 9020 chip with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage options. The device also runs the new HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system that offers a smoother and smarter user experience.
Among the interesting features introduced are the Panoramic Multi-Window function that allows three windows to be used simultaneously with adjustable sizes and content that can be dragged between applications. The Three-Screen Desktop function also displays more application icons in one view when the screen is fully opened.
For the first time, PC-version applications are also available on this phone for a more efficient work experience. Applications such as WPS Office, Wind Financial Terminal, Oriental Wealth, Wonder share Illustration and Wonder share Brain Map can now be used on a large screen display up to three folds with smart stylus support.
Huawei Mate XTs is equipped with a 50MP main camera system with a variable aperture between F1.4 and F4.0 and OIS. It also features a 40MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP periscope telephoto camera and a Red Maple Camera with over 1.5 million spectra.
The device uses a 5600mAh silicon battery with a thickness of only 1.9mm and supports 50W wireless charging.
