The Lenovo Legion Go 2 was launched yesterday with improvements to the processor. It will be launched in several markets next month with the Windows 11 operating system. But now Lenovo has confirmed that in spring 2026, the Legion Go 2 will also receive the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) launcher like the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.
Through Xbox FSE, the device will launch directly into Xbox mode with the same interface as on the console. The interface has also been optimized for use with the controller that has been an issue with the majority of mobile PC consoles since they were first marketed last year.
Microsoft canceled the development of a standalone mobile Xbox and instead provided the same experience on PC mobile consoles manufactured by other companies. The first two consoles with Xbox FES are the ROG Ally X series which will be launched in Malaysia on October 16.
