If you keep up to date with the keyboard hobby world, you will at least hear Norbauer's name. They are keyboard makers and accessories/components of premium classes based on Los Angeles, USA.
The company's latest project is Norbauer Seneca, a TKL -sized keyboard. The first version of this keyboard to be launched is called Norbauer Seneca First Edition made from aluminum alloy options with three types of finish (oxide gray, travertine and heatshield) or a selection of titanium veracity alloys with silver -covered copper plate layers.
Norbauer Seneca uses an electro -apasitive switch that comes with a more sensitive activation rate, using an electrical connection depending on the level of activation selected, and is more comfortable typing than the usual mechanical switch.
This keyboard will also come with the 1973 R&D switch cover - Norbauer & Co. With low profile profile MTNU, it fits in with this Norbauer Seneca keyboard design.
However, in terms of connection support, this keyboard supports only wired connections using the USB Type-C cable included with this keyboard. Unfortunately, these keyboards also have no additional features such as audio adjustments or small LCD screens that are now becoming more and more popular among custom keyboard owners.
In addition to the use of premium materials and components, another aspect emphasized is on the stabilizer component, especially for this keyboard space bar. In short, this section uses a new design that promises the sound of an iron wire will not be heard, and does not require the user to use lubricants to reduce friction in the component.
Norbauer Seneca First Edition is now being offered on their website, but it now comes with a 9 -month waiting list, with a starting price mark of $ 3600 for a model using an aluminum frame, while prices with a titanium frame reach $ 8090.
