The Xiaomi 17 series will be officially launched on September 25. Three models will be launched with two Pro models and one regular model. All three models are believed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with the camera system and Leica lenses also returning.
On the Pro model, there is a secondary screen on the back with a leaked image showing various widgets that can be placed on it. This is the first time Xiaomi has returned a secondary screen to a device with the last time it was offered on the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
In addition to offering a Leica lens, it is also believed to be the first device to use the HyperOS 3 operating system based on Android 16. The date of September 25 that was chosen is actually a bit strange because the day before, the Xaomi 15T series was to be launched to the global market.
