The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been on sale in the global market for several weeks and have received quite an encouraging response. The Cosmic Orange color has been the choice of many because it is unique and has never been offered before. But now reports have emerged of users complaining that the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max they purchased are experiencing color changing issues.
The color of the body, bump, and glass panel for MagSafe have changed with incidents of the device now turning pink. Buyers of the Deep Blue device have also reported a similar issue with the deep blue color slowly fading before spreading.
There is speculation that the color changes due to exposure to bright sunlight. We did not see this issue on the iPhone 17 Pro that was just reviewed last week. The incident also only involved a small number of buyers so far. Apple has not yet issued any official statement on this issue.
