Tonight, ASUS Malaysia announced that its latest portable PC gaming console series, the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X, will enter the local market on October 17, with pre-orders for the consoles opening today, October 3, 2025.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally features a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB LPDDR5X-6400RAM, 512GB M.2 2280 SSD storage and a 60Wh battery. There are 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage is user-replaceable.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X-8000RAM memory, 1TB M.2 2280 SSD storage and an 80Wh battery. There are 1x USB-Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DP 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage can also be replaced by users.
In the meantime, ASUS has also introduced two new accessories with the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally console series. These include the ASUS ROG Bulwark dock and the ASUS Jelly75 keyboard. The ROG Bulwark dock comes with seven built-in plugs, including three USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, two USB 3.2 Type-C plugs, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an HDMI 2.1 plug. This dock can also be used to charge your ASUS ROG Xbox Ally console.
The ASUS Jelly75 keyboard is a 75% size keyboard that comes with removable and replaceable 5-pin mechanical switches and uses a gasket mount for a comfortable typing experience. The keyboard also comes with support for three types of connections, including wired connection with a USB cable, Bluetooth wireless connection and 2.4GHz WiFi.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is priced at RM2699, while the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at RM4299, which is the same local price tag when the ASUS ROG Ally and ROG Ally X consoles were first launched a few years ago.
The ASUS ROG Bullwark will be offered at the same time at RM699 while the ASUS Jelly75 keyboard is priced at RM399.
Pre-orders for the ASUS ROG XBox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X open tonight, October 3, 2025 at the ASUS e-Store online store, while pre-orders at the ASUS Concept Store physical store will start on October 6. Pre-orders will close on the 15th, and will go on sale publicly on October 17.
