Young people want to travel abroad but in reality many cannot due to lack of funds and the very high cost of living. Therefore, if someone succeeds in going abroad, hundreds of photos are uploaded to social media, creating FOMO among followers. For those who are FOMO because they cannot afford it but still want to dream of going on a trip, the Endless Summer app has been launched.
Endless Summer asks users to upload a selfie and then an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated image of them traveling abroad will be generated. Google's Nano Banana AI model is used to generate fake photos that look realistic.
The app was developed by Laurent Del Rey, an employee of Met Superintelligence Labs as a way to boost the spirits of users who are tired at work and need to manifest their dreams of going to an interesting tourist location.
Endless Summer is only available on iOS at this time with the generation of six free photos. After the limit is reached, users will have to pay $3.99 for 30 photo uploads, $17.99 for 150 or $34.99 for 300. For those who don't want to subscribe to Endless Summer, you can do the same uploads by subscribing to the Google Gemini plan at a lower price.
