Google Introduces Gemini Enterprise – AI Agent Development Platform for the Corporate Sector

Corporations looking to simplify and accelerate technical internal processes now have another new option for developing and deploying their AI services through the Gemini Enterprise AI services development platform introduced by Google Cloud.

The Gemini Enterprise unified agent platform combines various Google AI technologies including the Gemini model, its own proprietary AI agent and can provide context even when company data is pulled from Google Workspace or third-party enterprise data processing platforms such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce or SAP.

It can be used for deep research, idea generation, up to data analysis and also the ability to add custom AI agents developed by organizational teams or Google Cloud partners.

One of the key advantages of Gemini Enterprise is the Workbench service. With this, any employee of the company can start developing AI service processes within the company, regardless of whether they have the technical skills to organize new services or not.

Whether they are from marketing to finance, anyone can easily build and manage AI agents to analyze information and automate company processes.

One issue that IT administrators may face with the use of this AI service development tool will be in terms of the security of company data. Gemini Enterprise allows the development of a centralized and closed governance framework, meaning that company data will not be sent outside the company's internal network, and all AI commands must be performed within the same network.

In the meantime, Gemini Enterprise also supports integration with industry standards such as the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, Agent Payments Protocol (AP2), and Agent Development Kit (ADK), and is supported by over 100,000 ecosystem partners worldwide.

In addition, Google Cloud is also introducing a variety of new programs to help organizations succeed in the era of agentic AI, including the free Google Skills training platform and the Delta initiative that allows Google Cloud AI engineers to work closely with customer teams to solve more complex challenges.

According to Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, “All of these programs are designed with one goal in mind: to help you and your team build the future with AI. As AI transforms organizations around the world, Google Cloud is the only partner that offers a complete set of solutions that can be customized to your organization’s needs. And most importantly, we deliver real business value to help you get a return on your investment from your AI deployments.”

You can visit the Gemini Enterprise website if you are interested in learning more about this AI services development platform.
