A few weeks ago, Intel announced the existence of the Intel Core Ultra 300 series of processor chips for laptops, also known as Intel Panther Lake. Not many details are known about it, but Intel said that it will cover the entire laptop offering in the future.
What was also leaked before was the introduction of the Intel Core Ultra X processor model, which is expected to come with more powerful performance, more memory and greater built-in graphics capabilities.
Recently, there has been another leak of information related to one of the CPUs, namely the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H. This information was leaked via Geekbench scores for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop, which is expected to be powered by this processor.
The details shown are also quite interesting, such as the number of cores, which are four Performance cores and 12 Efficiency cores consisting of eight main Efficiency cores and four Low Power Efficiency cores.
According to the screenshot, this processor chip comes with a turbo boost speed of up to 4.8GHz. This may be an early number, as there are only laptop processors that can reach a clock speed of 5.0GHz.
But what is more interesting to us is the Intel Xe3 graphics processor chip that will be paired with this processor chip. It comes with 12 Intel Xe3 cores and will share 16GB of built-in memory. Some reports also say that this graphics chip may have performance similar to a desktop-class Intel Arc A550 graphics card, with lower power consumption.
Intel is expected to introduce more details about their Core Ultra 300 (Panther Lake) processor series at the CES 2026 event.
