OpenAI Now Valued at Around $500 Billion

OpenAI, popular for their ChatGPT product, is now valued at $500 billion, based on the company's recent share buybacks. With this value, it also positions OpenAI as the most valuable private company, ahead of SpaceX and Bytedance before.

Last time, OpenAI was valued at around $300 billion. To this day, OpenAI has yet to generate a profit, and is expected to continue to be in a loss for the next few years.

ChatGPT is now one of the products widely used by many users around the world. OpenAI previously said that ChatGPT is used by 700 million active users every week, one of the high figures when compared to various other services on the market.

Today, ChatGPT is ready to lead as an artificial intelligence platform, and is far ahead of Google Gemini, Meta AI and even Microsoft Copilot.
