The Apple MacBook Pro 14″ with M5 chip is now finally available in Malaysia after more than a month of launch. Sales are now open online via the Apple Malaysia website with physical purchases available at Apple Stores and official resellers starting tomorrow.
The MacBook Pro 14-Inch comes with a 14.2″ Liquid Retina XDR screen, paired with the Apple M5 chip, up to 32GB of RAM, up to 4TB of storage and a battery that can last up to 24 hours. Charging up to 96W is also supported. The camera is 12MP with Center Stage for video calls.
I/O options are the MagSafe 3 charging port, 3x USB-C Thunderbolt 4, 1x HDMI, 1x SDXC card reader and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. The speaker with spatial audio is also retained on the top, the Magic Keyboard along with the Touch ID scanner on the power button. There are no physical changes compared to the 14-inch MacBook Pro M4 which is still on sale.
In Malaysia, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip (16/512GB) is priced at RM6999, rising to RM13,799 for the (32GB/4TB) model. This is the model without the Nano texture option on the screen and without the 96W USB-C charger.
