Oppo has launched its latest mid-premium phone, the Reno15 series, which comes with improved cameras and battery capacity. As usual, two models are offered, the Oppo Reno15 and Oppo Reno15 Pro with a brand new finish with a cute ribbon motif.
The Oppo Reno15 comes with a 6.32-inch screen that offers a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1800 nits.
The device is paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chip with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage while its battery has a capacity of 6200mAh that supports 80W fast charging.
The camera system consists of a 200MP wide-angle main camera with OIS support, followed by a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP telephoto, each of which also supports OIS.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch screen that offers a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This device is paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chip with 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage while its battery has a capacity of 6500mAh which also supports 80W fast charging.
For photography, it features a 200MP wide-angle camera with OIS in addition to a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP telephoto, each of which also supports OIS. The camera system also supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.
Both come with a metal frame with IP66/IP68/IP69 protection in addition to a stereo speaker system, infrared emitter and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. All also run the Android 16 operating system with the latest ColorOS 16 interface.
Retail prices start at RMB2,999 (~RM1,759) for the Reno 15 while the Reno 15 Pro is offered at RMB3,699 (~RM2,171).
