Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool App Enables Xbox Full Screen on Consoles That Don't Support It

With the latest update to the Windows 11 operating system, Microsoft has begun introducing Xbox Full Screen mode to a PC gaming console, namely the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X. This allows users to continue using the Xbox application interface on the console and not have to enter the full Windows 11 operating system.

This allows the console to operate more efficiently and come with better battery savings. However, for now, the mode is only officially present on the console series.

Recently, a software developer, 8bit2qubit has introduced the Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool app that allows owners of other PC gaming consoles that run the Windows 11 operating system to easily enable this mode on their consoles.

Offered on Github, the app will scan your console to identify if you are running the latest Windows 11 operating system and the type of device you are using. It will then tell you the steps needed to enable the mode on your console.

You will also need to update your Xbox App to the latest version to enable this mode.

If you own a console like the ASUS ROG Ally X, MSI Claw or Lenovo Legion Go before, or any other portable console that runs the Windows 11 operating system, you can try this app to get the new Xbox Full Screen mode.
