iCity Shah Alam is an urban area with a variety of exciting locations for the whole family. Recently, iCity Berhad has opened the AI World Experience Centre at the i-City Sales Gallery, Shah Alam, Selangor, marking the physical activation of the first artificial intelligence-enabled urban area in Malaysia.
Developed through a collaboration between i-Berhad and AgiBot, a robotics technology development company from Shanghai, China, the AI World Experience Centre is a large-scale immersive AI and robotics exhibition space, offering visitors first-hand exposure to how AI will be applied across residential, commercial, wellness and lifestyle environments in i-City.
Through interactive exhibitions and demonstrations showcased at the AI World Experience Centre, users can see how robots and artificial intelligence will be applied in people’s daily lives, from home hygiene to elderly care and more.
Apart from being a visitor attraction, the AI World Experience Centre can also be visited by school and higher education students to engage themselves in the experience of developing robotics and artificial intelligence technology.
Currently, the AI World Experience Centre is open to the public as a preview while i-Berhad and AgiBot are adding various new exhibitions, activity zones and facilities before it officially opens early next year.
According to i-Berhad and AgiBot, this experience centre will be officially opened on 13 January 2026, and will feature 100 humanoid robots that will demonstrate the various capabilities of these robots through automation processes and close-range and long-range control.
The AI World Experience Centre is located next to the i-City Theme Park, taking over the location of the i-City Sales Gallery in i-City Shah Alam.
