Alibaba Cloud is a cloud service provider that also powers various systems and services in Malaysia, one of which is widely known as Touch ‘n Go. Today Alibaba Cloud announced a collaboration with Ryt Bank and Pro-NET to power their AI stack (AI-stack).
Through this collaboration, Ryt Bank uses Alibaba Cloud’s AI technology in providing digital banking for users. Through it, account applications can be completed in as fast as two minutes and also comply with the conditions set by Bank Negara Malaysia. This is further complemented by the stability and sustainability of the cloud system that provides banking services around the clock, while ensuring security is at the highest level.
The collaboration between PRO-Net and Alibaba Cloud also involves the development of an EV platform under the responsibility of PRO-Net as a subsidiary of Proton that focuses on offering new energy vehicles. The Alibaba Cloud system is also used in analyzing usage patterns, predicting and analyzing, and will use Qwen and their AI platform directly on Proton’s car inforia system in the future. 88
Alibaba Cloud also emphasized the importance of Malaysia in their market, in fact Malaysia is also their first AI support center outside of China. Apart from Ryt Bank, Pro-NET and Touch ’N Go, Alibaba Cloud also powers AI technology in several other local companies and also has a Cloud Region in Malaysia.
