NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW game streaming service is a service that allows customers to play their favorite computer games without having to buy a powerful computer, as long as you also have a fast internet connection.
NVIDIA seems to have updated the terms of use of this service recently, where they introduced a usage time limit of 100 hours per month, regardless of the subscription plan used.
This is not new, and NVIDIA had already announced it through their blog post in November 2024 which said that GeForce NOW Performance and Ultimate customers can enjoy unlimited gaming until January 2026.
After this, customers will have to add more playing time by purchasing a 15-hour pass that costs $2.99 for both subscription plans.
In Malaysia, the GeForce NOW service is managed by telecommunications company YES, which according to a report by LowYat.net, the local market is said to be unaffected by the policy change, meaning that Malaysian customers will still be able to enjoy unlimited streaming if they subscribe monthly.
However, it has also been revealed that YES has also discontinued the annual subscription for the GeForce NOW service, and now only offers monthly, three-day and daily subscriptions.
Whether this will change, we will check the YES GeForce NOW website on January 1st to see if they will also offer a 15-hour game streaming pass.
