Google has now filed a lawsuit against SerpApi, for stealing Google search data and content, and selling it to developers of artificial intelligence services.
Google says its search results also contain licensed content, especially for summary answers, on Google Maps, Google Shopping and several others. Google did not specify the value of the lawsuit against SerpApi, and also sought a court order to prevent SerpApi from continuing to steal its content.
Regarding this, SerpApi said that they offer the same information as regular users browsing Google search results without logging in. SerpApi also emphasized that Google's lawsuit will limit third-party competition in the development of products such as artificial intelligence. Previously, several services are said to use SerpApi's services, including OpenAI.
