Leaked CAD Drawings of Foldable iPhone

Apple will produce a foldable iPhone, rumors have been circulating since 2018. The development of the foldable iPhone is believed to have been delayed due to the panels reportedly not meeting Apple's standards. Some say it will be released in late 2026 and some say 2027. But this morning, CAD drawings for the foldable iPhone have been leaked via the iPhone Ticker website.

The drawings show the iPhone with a nearly square body in the folded position and will become a rectangle when opened. The body measures 120.6 x 83.8 x 9.6 mm, making it smaller than the Galaxy Z Flip7 with dimensions of 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5 mm. Although smaller, the foldable iPhone is wider but slightly thicker.

Despite being similar in size to the Galaxy Z Flip7, the device has a book design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold7. It has a secondary screen on the outside and a selfie camera hole. The drawings do not show it supporting the Face ID system. It is believed that the foldable iPhone will feature a 5.3″ outer screen with a 7.7″ inner screen.

The device can also be seen to feature a dual main camera on the back with the iPhone Air bump and the MagSafe wireless charging area. Also visible are the power button and Action Button placed on the right side of the device.
