Marissa Mayer is a name that has not been heard for quite some time, but the former CEO of Yahoo and one of the early employees of Google is still one of the most recognizable female technology figures. With the world still in the grip of artificial intelligence (AI), Mayer has founded her latest startup, Dazzle, which offers an AI eye assistant.
In an interview with TechCrunch, Mayer said that development of Dazzle began last summer and she immediately realized that its potential was higher than originally expected. The full capabilities of Dazzle and how it is different from virtual assistants like Gemini, Siri and ChatGPT are still not revealed by Mayer.
Dazzle has managed to raise $8 million in seed funding so far with the target of coming out of stealth mode early next year.
