The flood of foldable devices is increasingly flooding the market and Nubia is also entering this category with the Nubia Fold offering.
This device comes with an 8″ main screen and a 6.5″ secondary screen. Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate while the main screen also offers Split View Mode for using multiple applications simultaneously. In terms of design, this device is only 5.4 mm thick when fully opened and 11.1 mm when folded with a weight of around 249 grams.
The mainstay of this device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The chip still offers better performance than most chipsets on the market. This device also runs Android 15 and is equipped with IP54 protection for protection against dust and splashes of water.
Also complementing this device is a camera system with a 50MP main lens, 50MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro. In addition, it offers a 20 MP selfie camera which is placed on the main and secondary screens respectively. In terms of battery, the Nubia Fold comes with a capacity of 6,560 mAh which supports 55W fast charging.
The Nubia Fold is priced at ¥178,560 (around RM4,731) starting this December while the global launch is expected to take place next year.
