Spotify Tests Prompted Playlists – Use Prompts to Create a Playlist That’s Right for You

Spotify has introduced a number of new features this year, such as an update to its interface and the introduction of a lossless audio streaming mode for Spotify Premium subscribers.

Recently, Spotify has been seen testing a new AI feature that will require input from users called Prompted Playlists. This feature will allow Spotify Premium subscribers to enter prompts into Spotify’s prompt field to allow the app to create a playlist that suits your requests.

For example, if you ask Spotify to create a playlist based on the 100 songs you’ve played most frequently since you started using Spotify, the app will search your history on the app, and will create the list in no time.

You can also use different types of prompts, and not only can you create new playlists more easily, but Spotify will also give you examples of prompts that you can use to create playlists that suit your needs.

In the meantime, you can also request that these playlists be updated weekly to give you new songs, keeping them fresh in your ears.

It is reported that this feature is being tested in New Zealand and only supports proms in English for now.
