HP acquired accessories company HyperX in 2021 and at CES 2026 they combined the HyperX name with Omen for all of their gaming products. This makes HP the second company after Dell to rebrand (in Dell's case, returning to the original XPS name) for a product this year.
The three models launched are the HyperX Omen 15, HyperX Omen 16 and HyperX Omen Max 16. The HyperX Omen 15 features a 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED screen, up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H chip, next-generation Intel processors, or AMD Ryzen AI chips. This is paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (8GB GDDR7) graphics card, up to 32GB DDR5-DDR5600 memory, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD storage and a 70 Whr battery.
The HyperX Omen 16 features a 16-inch 165Hz OLED display, up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H chip, next-generation Intel processors, or AMD Ryzen AI chips. This is paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (8GB GDDR7) graphics card, up to DDR5-DDR5600 memory, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD storage, and an 83 Whr battery.
Finally, the HyperX Omen Max 16 features a 16-inch 240Hz OLED display, up to an Intel next-generation processor, or AMD Ryzen AI chips. This is paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, up to DDR5-DDR6400 memory, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD storage, and an 83 Whr battery.
