The Infinix Note Edge is scheduled to be launched in Malaysia on 4 February 2025 and the software support aspect is one of the main things that is given attention.
In this regard, Infinix announced that this device will receive three versions of Android and five years of security patches, thus signifying a long-term commitment to the user experience and device security.
This step is an improvement over the previous support which only offered 2 + 3 years of updates. However, it still does not match several other manufacturers such as Samsung which provide support for up to six years even on their entry-level devices.
Apart from software support, Infinix's main focus for this model is on the thin and light design making it more practical for daily use. Full details on the specifications and selling price in Malaysia will only be known after the official launch.
The first look of this device was also published a few days ago to give users an early impression of the design and features offered.
