Lenovo's ThinkPad laptop series was also given a new lease of life at CES 2026. This laptop aimed at professionals has been updated with the latest processing chip launched this week.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 is equipped with a 14″ screen with a choice of IPS or OLED with WUXGA resolution and touch support. This is matched with an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 chip, up to 64GB LPDDR5x 9600MT/s RAM, up to 2GB PCIe Gen 5 storage and a 58Whr battery.
I/O options are 3x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2, 1x HDMI 2.1 and 1x audio jack. The webcam is 10MP with ThinkShutter privacy shutter. The audio system consists of two speakers and two microphones. The frame is made of magnesium while the cover is made of carbon fiber. This laptop weighs only 996g.
The ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 is equipped with a 14″ touch screen with a choice of IPS or OLED with a resolution of up to 2.8K. The screen can be rotated 360 degrees to use it as a tablet. This is matched with an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 chip, up to 64GB LPDDR5x 9600MT/s RAM, up to 2GB PCIe Gen 5 storage and a 58Whr battery.

I/O options include 3x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 10Gbps, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x SD reader and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. The webcam is 10MP with ThinkShutter privacy shutter IR emitter. The audio system consists of six speakers and two microphones. The laptop weighs 1.5kg. All three models will be available starting Q1 2026 with prices below.
