Trials to Reverse Human Aging Process to Begin Soon

The reality is that all humans will grow old and this process cannot be reversed. So humans have long tried to slow down the aging process by creating diets, herbs and cosmetic treatments to stay young and youthful. In the United States, Life Biosciences, a bioscience startup, has been granted approval by the FDA to begin trials of a process to reverse the aging process for the first time in human history.

The treatment given by mama code ER‑100 uses the concept of “epigenetic reprogramming” which resets the genetic control of cells to a younger state. In human clinical trials to be conducted this year, 12 glaucoma patients will receive injections of 3 viruses containing genes that reprogram eye cells.

Glaucoma occurs because aging cells mutate, causing the fluid drainage system in the eye to be disrupted. The pressure in the eyeball increases until the optic nerve is damaged. ER-100 will return eye cells to a younger state which allows the optic nerve and fluid drainage system to function again. In other words, it is like the healing factor of the character Wolverine but only in the eye.

In tests on laboratory mice, ER-100 was effective in regenerating optic nerves in some cases. Now its effectiveness in humans will be tested. There are some major risks such as cells undergoing this rejuvenation process then producing cancerous tumors. Life Biosciences has successfully proven to the FDA that ER-100 is safe to use without risk to humans.

At this point the treatment is only for glaucoma patients. But the studies conducted are hoped to be used for various other treatments for diseases caused by human cell aging such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, cancer and arthritis.
